A drawing a day!!!
I am trying to post a drawing a day. Each is done in pen and ink and kind, of free form. I draw whatever comes in to my mind! Nothing earth shattering..they are just fun to do. This is called NOT A GOOD LOOK!

Events this weekend!
It is going to be a busy weekend. I will be at the Target Book Festival in Bloomington Minnesota. I will be reading at 10:35 and signing after until 11:40. Then I head down to a really fun book event at the Anderson Center in Redwing MInnesota. If you have never been down to the Anderson Center you are in for a treat!! There are many authors and illustrators coming including two of my favorites Stephen Gammell and new author Chris Monroe who wrote my new favorite book MONKEY IN A TOOL BELT. The Red Balloon will be on hand to sell books. I hope to see everyone there! For more information go to www.andersoncenter.org

Here is your first drawing lesson. Have fun!
In the next few weeks I will post drawing lessons and other fun stuff! I also get lots of questions about getting into writing and ilustrating a book. First tip!!! Just do it ! Get started today! Take an hour or two each day to write and see what happens. If you hit a writers block just draw my monkey a few times then get back at it!!
New play opening in a few short weeks!
I am so excited for the opening of my new play I LIKE ME at Stages Theatre in Hopkins Minnesota.
It is so much fun to see my characters come alive on stage! I will be signing books there on Sept. 25th and
October 17th after the show. Hope to see you there!
